Size Of Sauna
All Our Saunas Are available in various configurations. We have different shapes and sizes to suite your needs. Our Wood barrel Sauna configurations range from 4ft (1.2 meters) all the way up to 12ft (3.6 meters). Nonetheless, to discuss a different configuration please call us anytime 403-998-7755.
Heater / Stove
Any Sauna Selection includes either an electric Harvia heater – or – exterior feed classic wood burning stove. if you want to learn more about the options or would like to discuss which is right for you – simply give us a call.
Included With All Saunas
Everything to get you ready for use right away is included with every wood sauna. comfortable benches and headrests, robe hooks, bucket & ladle, flat floors, sauna stones, and of-course your heater.
Why Cedar?
The best material for saunas has been an ongoing question. however, the answer is clear – cedar is supreme. Other wood types can be used to save money – but quality is largely compromised. See the comparison below to discover the differences;
Cedar: Cedar is known for its durability and sustainability. It’s less likely to decay or rot and is considered the most energy-efficient. The aroma is also unmatched, a true sauna experience overall – Surely the best wood for saunas.
Nordic spruce: These light spruce wood saunas are easy on the eyes. The aromas typically aren’t too fragrant. However, you may notice more knots in the wood or that it seeps sap. once a spruce sauna begins to decay, rot, or sap a sauna session is no longer recommended as respiratory Harm can occur.
Pine: These pine wood saunas typically have the lowest price but come with the most problems. They’re not as durable. The aesthetic is relative, but most people don’t find Pine saunas very nice. they tend to rot the quickest, and are very prone to damage with mild winter weather conditions.
